What I think about English
Even though Tamil is my mother tongue, I prefer English for unknown reasons (and by that I mean I don't know why I prefer English).
Even though I prefer English, I'm not exactly perfect at it and sometimes I cramp things into such a small sentence like this one.
I can't say the same for Tamil because I am somehow 2x worse at it than English like if I get 97/100 for English, I get 70/100 for Tamil. The only reason that I am good at English is the fact that everyone in my region is bad at English.
I really recommend using a grammar checker or something if you want to write something professionally because of the fact that you probably suck at English just like me.
I don't use GRAMMARLY because I want to write things casually and I don't care if anyone wants to correct my grammar.
Another thing I want to clarify is NEVER PLAGARISE FOR ESSAYS.
Seriously almost every English teacher knows every single student better than their own children and they will look at the essay and go, "That's sus he never writes like that".
Overall English is a cool language
ME APPROVED
But coming to the fact that people in India kinda cringe on their own accents and it makes me feel bad for every single motivational speaker.
One day a North Indian speaker came to our school to talk to our grade 7 people about a competition and her accent was so different from our normal South Indian English accent that everyone instantly cringed at once (except me because me is good boi).
Everyone cringed so hard that our teachers had to step in to make them silent and retain their school's dignity.
And there was also this time when a person from England came to our school and her accent was EXTREMELY DIFFERENT, like I hear England people talking on YouTube but her accent was much more different than that. And just like you expected, the whole school cringed (except me because me GOOD BOI). I might have let out a sharp exhale but the remaining students destroyed our school's dignity for the thousandth time.
This is why I would prefer to stay in India for my studies entirely because I want to be next to people whom I could understand perfectly.
And that was one of the most controversial thing I talked about English: Accents.
When you are used to one singular accent and then suddenly hear an other accent, you would get confused if you were human.
I don't what to talk about English next soooooooooooooooooooooooooo................
