A review of my laptop: MSI GF63 Thin 10SC

 To be absolutely honest, yes the name is quite big lol.

Now this laptop is marketed as a "GAMING LAPTOP".

And it does a mediocre level of gaming (remember just mediocre) which is justifiable for its price I might say.

Now I have a problem and that is that the C: Drive is nearly full and that makes the laptop burn like something. Now it doesn't actually burn but it heats up a lot that we had to buy a cooling pad.

Now this thing even lags a lot when I use OBS and some other thing together (I didn't know that OBS requires a lot of performance) and when playing AAA Games it sometimes gives 60 fps and sometimes lags the entire game.

I played Forza once with Game Pass and it worked really well but we had to uninstall it due to storage issues.

SPEAKING OF STORAGE

We have 1 terabyte of storage!!! (But it is assigned to D:Drive :( )

1 terabyte of storage is surprisingly convenient for no reason. 

I can literally download a 100 GB game whenever I want to. (Only limits are your Wi-Fi and this things performance)

And to be honest our Wi-Fi is absolutely potato and that's the only thing keeping me back from downloading some juicy stuff.

This laptop runs Windows 10 but we can upgrade to Windows 11 but we don't really want to cause there's basically nothing different about it to be honest.

IMO its just a flashier version of Windows 10.

Coming back to the laptop it is sometimes surprisingly good and sometimes surprisingly bad.

For example it once ran Forza Horizon 5 at 200 fps.

And once it kept crashing when I asked it to open Forza Horizon 4.

Right now it can handle any game but it gets so hot that it becomes a secondary stove.

I think the way it behaves is because we bought this thing in 2019 so its literally 5 years old and I would say that it has lost a lot of performance.

And the webcam is also potato like every other gaming laptop.

OH THE GPU

Its a GTX 1650 with Max Q design (trust me I also don't know what that means.

The laptop also has a kind of secondary GPU which I think is part of the CPU.

OH THE CPU

It is the (Wait I need the copy paste OH NO I CAN'T COPY IT NOOOOOOO) 

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60 GHz (Gosh that took longer than expected)

Both of the stuff do really well but I don't know some technical things to be honest.

So lemme end this review real quick.

Advantages:

  • Has a good amount of performance
  • Can run AAA games (sometimes)
  • Is really fast if you have good internet
  • Keyboard backlighting (Yummy)
  • Very nice keyboard
  • Touchpad is good if you maintain it properly
  • Sound quality is good
  • Has a good cooling system

Disadvantages:

  • If it crashes one time it crashes a lot
  • Performance is sometimes unpredictable 
  • If you have bad internet it's basically useless buying this thing
  • Potato webcam as I mentioned but the quality is sometimes good
  • Cooling system just doesn't cool it properly sometimes, just takes the warm air out.                 

Anyways I would still recommend buying a high-end laptop if you have the money, this just doesn't cut it sometimes

As for my mouse its the Zebronics Shark Lite (finally a less complicated name) and its pretty cool. The mouse pad is the redgear... something I DONT KNOW ALRIGHT. The cooling pad is- wait a second why is my laptop sounding like a jet engine while I'm typing this. (My laptop's still sounding like a jet engine) As I was saying the cooling pad is- oh come on why did my laptop turn on its afterburners or something. AS I WAS SAYING my cooling pad actually makes a difference to the laptop because it doesn't sound like a jet engine 95% of the time (but now it suddenly is and the laptop aint even hot oh yes i found out the solution and it was... *insert complica...

Summer vacation shenanigans... again

(Yes im writing this thing again cuz im outta ideas again.) I wrote a draft blog about my exams but then i forgot to continue it so no exam blog i guess. Also im using a weird font cuz im feeling like it alr no arguments allowed. So summer vacation just started and there's nothing much interesting to do except suffer from a program that i wrote about an eternity ago. (yes, its still ongoing) The top things to do in summer vacation (as per my experience): 1. Watch TV 2. Play on my laptop 3. Throw a tennis ball all around the place because there's no one for me to play with. 4. The foosball table when my sister finally comes to play. 5. Study (worst thing ever) Now ik this list is pretty boring but what in the world can I even do? Also my friends created a friend group of sorts and the only word I ever typed in there was "why" cuz I was bored and I wanted them to play among us or smthn bcz no one saved my name but the group owner knew that I was the imposter so the fun ...

Trying to get money of my blogs pt 2

Now if you saw my stats blog you would know that my stats are absolutely cringe and i cant really try to get adsense to put ads on my blog because... 35K total views aint gonna cut it. I mean it's a loss for adsense if they agree to put ads on cringe ahh blogs like mine but WHO CARES. If they actually accept to put up ads on my blog, it either means one of two things: 1.
